I was born the fourth of six, in a world too noisy to notice dreams, but I noticed everything. While others played tag, I was decoding the clouds. I wasn’t lost in my head, I was already in the realms between. My mother called it “daydreaming.” I call it “training.”

From an early age, I knew I was different. Not better, just… tuned to a different station.

I recorded episodes of FAME on a cassette player, not to mimic the stars but to transcribe every lyric by hand. I thought I wanted to be an actress. Turns out, I was subconsciously hearing the universe whisper through those lyrics:

“You’re going to live forever.
You’re going to learn how to fly… high.”

I thought I wanted to be famous. Turns out, the universe wanted me to remember.

I wanted to perform. But the universe wanted me to awaken.

I thought I wanted to be a monk without the monastery, a nun without the convent.

What I actually longed for was a devoted path of inner knowing, not cloaked in religion, but in remembrance. I’ve been fascinated by numbers, dreams, and the invisible threads that connect us all. And somewhere between the convent’s silence and my dreams’ roaring clarity, I realized…

While the world sleeps, I am wide awake. And when the world “wakes,” I see it as dreaming.
